I'm hoping for more than "moderate" success, but I'm a hard-core sim nut... (Grin) _________________ Roger "Frying Tiger" Long

I try to stay away from those government contracts...
Maybe it's the big scary men in black suits holding their shotguns as they stare over your shoulder and watch you type away on your keyboard... it just tends to hinder productivity sometimes, that's all... |

Congrats for the new retail deal (I'll probably buy another copy of the game just for the box ).
I hope you will have a lot of success. _________________ Vestigia Nulla Retrorsum |

There is nothing scarier than a crazy looking guy in a t-shirt and khakis threatening to beat people with a rusty chain. You can stick me in a corner somewhere.
Oh yea way to go on the retail deal. I'll be scooping out the local stores and making sure to rearrange the copies on the shelf, placing them in front of lesser games.

I feel your pain, TLAM strike... I was very, very happy to get the job here a few months ago. I was job hunting for a lllllooooong time! But it paid off in the end.
Keep at it, persistence really does pay off. Don't let it get you down! _________________ Roger "Frying Tiger" Long

TLAM,
What was your prior job? There are plenty of jobs here in Central Illinois for computers.
As stated in the Subsim.com forum, sorry that it's been a while since I've visited. I'm at school right now checking on things. |

Once I get a working car I'll be able to get some work. It’s just that walking 2+ miles along the highway in an Upstate New York winter (which is only a couple of months away) just isn’t safe. _________________

My dad was in the Navy back in the 70's and when my buddy Steve joined up the first thing my dad asked him was "Why the hell would you go and do that!?!" I may like Naval Sims but I've been skewed on the idea of doing it for a living. _________________

Cool story. Not to totally change the subject of the thread, but the military is a great place to get technical skills and money for college. I enlisted in the Air Force and that helped get me through college. Then I became an officer in the Air Force after college. I'm nostalgiac for those days.
-Now back to the topic - Another congratulations for you Sonalysts. Wishing for the best for the future.
